Astonish Cydia Applications

IPhone is the revolution in the today's smart phone world. Its second time I am trying to jailbreak my IPhone but not directly to the latest version available on Itunes, so there’s a process I need to follow to install a specific version which is already outdated at a given date. Don’t worry there’s a Google Maharaja who always there to help us in resolving any kind of issue. Here you go I took YouTube help and successfully installed OS v 4.3.3 against to the current v 4.3.4 which can be jailbreak able.

Here is the Cydia comes into picture when an IPhone is jailbreak. I started exploring cydia to get the cool apps on my IPhone. During this exploration I found some cool and exciting applications which made me crazy to work on IPhone hours together. This time I am successful in installing Mywi a tethering which helps to convert my device to a wifi hotspot. Gakslart theme which I am more impressed by, installed on my IPhone given a classic look and also a live clock app that has even seconds scale moving, added to this theme I Installed bosspaper app that changes background every x sec/min which can be configurable in bosspaper settings, but only worst part of this app is it kills battery soon. Barrel and Gravity apps categorized as GUI apps gives a good feeling when trying to navigate from page to page and when you shake the IPhone. Iprotect is very useful app that protects some of my secured apps from strange users. Android lock a cool screen locker app installed on IPhone and started using it. You can use ‘n’ no of patterns as a locker code to the IPhone. Installed ‘On Top’ browser that eliminates the auto adjusting of directions which is very useful when you browse while sleeping. USB disk pro and PDF reader having wifi file sharing facility are more useful to copy files onto the IPhone making IPhone as wireless mass storage device. And SBSetting which is a shortcut window that contains network information together at one place and provides the ability to activate/deactivate the apps that are running, enable/disable wifi, bluetooth etc.

There are tones of apps from Cydia, only thing you need is patience to explore on it.

Birthday Celebration @ Sacramento

28 years back a common man born to a couple "Lalitha-Shivarajam" on thursday early morning 4:30 AM at hemalatha hospital, Jagtial. Its me with no surprise stepping into 29th year. Most of the time I celebrated my birthday with my family wherever I am, but Last 3 birthdays I am away from my parents, staying in US, so I have 3 different experiences.
My First birthday in US is weird, because I just moved to Atlanta where I dont know any one, every one know that it takes some time to mingle with the people around you. So I felt too lonely, I not even went to temple for darshan.
My second one was somewhat interesting, I was called to my friends apartment, there we had some party and at mid noon I cut the cake and my face was painted by whole cake had some fun with the friends around me. I enjoyed the day.

Third the most interesting one, I invited many of my friends to the apartment, like around 20 people came on that day, some of my friends made different dishes like Chicken bryiani, Egg bryiani, Fish fry etc. Every one is in full josh and partied with variety of drinks like Beer, Scotch, Wine etc. Hope every one enjoyed the day. My brother and some of my friends came all the way from Fremont to Sacramento. at mid noon I cut 2 cakes, one of them is tres leches and other one is chocolate, The good thing here is my parents are watching online as my brother shoot on the skype. All of a sudden a guy(Dilip) came from behind and flushed champing on to me, another one (Rajan) flushed Beer onto me, then Eggs and continued with cake and dirt water and so, I was totally wet with all this cocktails then got severely beaten by every one, it took like a week time to get rid of the pain. Finally last but not least Mac book pro opening ceremony gifted by my loving brother.

Any ways I have different experience every time. though I enjoyed all the 3.

Spring Certification

Spring is a framework what I thought is very hard to learn, given a try learning it when I am on bench in mid 2008 and left it. For more than 18 months I was into Frontend development in JSF learned a lot from DMV project implemented by HP. That was time to change the job, moved to some other project where more responsibilities on my shoulder with respect to the project forced me to focus on all the areas of a software development, so started learning Spring and Hibernate again. Soon I got an offer to join as a full time employment with the company where I am working (Maximus Inc). After talking the offer I was pushed forward to take Certification in Spring which is set as a goal for me for the year. That’s where I was encouraged to put my focus more into the Spring subject and started getting the flavor of the subject by reading “Spring in Action” book. Tomorrow I gonna start the certification course which is surprisingly an online course but I should go the center, luckily I have a partner to share the knowledge with. It’s a 4 day course, 9-5 every day. All set to feel the experience of the online multimedia course for the first time which is the costliest course I ever taken.

Bday wishes to my first boss in the IT world

His name is Vanit, the way how the name sounds so effortless and inimitable, he is very generous and kind towards me. CEO of Jiva InfoTech Hyderabad based company soon he opened branches in USA.

The discussion about me between my Dad and vinay (Brother of Vanit Sir who is into the clothes business) troop me towards the right direction which I feel gladly till now and made me to meet Vanit sir and started working in his office, since then every six months hike depending upon my performance at work.

Time is superfast inadvertently I completed 1 year at Jiva InfoTech and strong-willed to come to US with the help of my boss. My boss is very supportive and did many things to get my Visa stamped by sending me onsite to Mauritius hoping that would be very helpful for US visa stamping.

That’s where now I am here in USA. Even after coming to US my boss helped me in marketing my resume. Since then touch based with me to inquire how am I and my brother.

I am very happy to have such a good boss in my profession. It has been a pleasure working for you for about 2 years. Wish you many many happy returns of the day Sir.

Workplace station design

Days going forward everyday are becoming history; I am remorseful to myself that the Neck pain I am suffering with is not parting me since it started 4 months back. Doctor said that it’s very common for a software engineer who always works in front of computer, she said about the ergonomics of workstation which is very vital to a lap worm (like a book worm who always works with a computer or laptop called as lap worm). Ergonomics: Design your workstation to avoid pain causes due to upper back, lumber and Neck etc. The physiotherapist where I been to for the neck pain recovery explained me about the ergonomics and the way my workstation should be with some minimum needs like back support, footrest, wrist rest etc and also how much the chair height should be, viewing distance of monitor, keyboard slope angle, leg room, sitting position on chair while working and about the zonal system of the utilities that I used frequently or rarely. After setting the workstation as explained, there’s a lil improvement. In most of the companies workstations should be ergonomically approved, some of them will not follow but it is ourselves who need to set all this because if we don’t the ultimate loss is for us only right?
